its crazy you know, when kanye first came out dame was doubtin him cuz he aint fit the "hip hop image" and that was back in '03... only four years ago!!!! fastforward to '07 and the very same image that was considered hip hop is now considered "stagnant and repetitive" so could he be the posterchild of what hip hop will be in the next coming years? i mean think about it, when 2pac came out he had *EVERYONE* tryna bite his style! its been ten years since he died and rappers is still tryna be like him! he was the opposite of what everybody else was sayin %26amp; he spoke his mind (alot like what kanye is doin now) so I really think thats how kanye will be.. any agreements?

I really like Kanye's music, but I hate how he acts. He acts like no one can be better than him, and that's why alot of people don't listen to his music. No, I do not think anyone will remember him when he dies, the only reason Tupac is still a inspiration and people still listen to him is because he didn't have a shitty attitude and his music spoke the truth, and he also didn't try to fit in with other rap artists, unlike so many rappers today.

he'll rap about something when other more mainstream rappers wont. (kinda like the game) i dont think he's as good as 2pac was as his worst but mabey i'm biased. He could be like the rap legend 4 this generation tho... idk
Kanye? Hell no, the fools playin to the mainstream, if anyone is gonna save Hip-Hop it's gonna be someone who actually has a shred of talent, someone like Papoose, Lloyd Banks or Chamillionaire, now I know Chamillionaire has had some mainstream time but he doesn't act full of himself, these three dudes at least in my opinion tear up basically everythin they rhyme on, Papoose in particular, his punchlines, metaphors and flow is crazy, there's a reason he hasn't had any beef yet, and that's simply cause no one is stupid enough to challenge him, so as far as my opinion goes, crown Papoose king of Hip-Hop right now man.
2pac will remain the best there was and no-one will ever come close to him the dude rule even from the dead. However for hiphop being dead it sure is and Kanye west ain't the saviour belive me the guy music is good but it has not even come close to 2pac. Let give the guy some two or three years and see.
