When will Hip Hop come to the aid of the "Jena 6"?

When will Hip Hop come to the aid of the "Jena 6". Where are all of the protest songs, where are the video's concerning the "Jena 6". Krs one made a small mention of the jena 6 in a rhyme on the VH1'S hip hop honors when he said "if you never heard this mix you are oppressed like the jena 6" but thats it. Record companies want to know why hip hop is not selling ,it's because the message is gone, i guarantee if "Public Enemy" were still in the public eye we would have ten songs and videos by now. The rappers today need to be held accountable for turning their backs on the people who supported hip hop when people said it was just a "fad". I have been a part of the hip hop nation since 1981 and i accuse today's artist of "treason" for not standing up and sounding the proverbial horn on the oppressive and racist acts being carried out against the jena 6. How do you plead?

i'd like to know why the main rappers who spoke out on this were Mos Def (NY) and Bun B (TX)........where was Lil Wayne, Birdman, Master P, Boosie, Juvenile, all the louisiana rappers?

Mos Def, Bun B, Hurricane Chris, and Twista was at the march. but i havent heard any songs from any rappers. i know John Mellencamp did a song but he aint hip hop
LMAO@I need money first...

That's one funny character

But uh, I'm not sure how the mentality of a hip hop star is, but it just doesn't seem like too many people care. I remember Mos Def goin off on rappers cuz there weren't many of them in Jena during the protest.
every rapper should nas jay-z cassidy etc.
Why should they? They have money. People that have money have a completely different life style.
