Why is everyone against hip hop?

Ever since the the Dom Imus situation every one has been against hip hop saying that quote" alot of rappers use the word ho and ***** so why can't we say if anyhthing rappers should apologize too not to the basketball team but to the community period"Most of the people agreeing with this does not know what real hip hop is, never heard a real hip hop song in their life does not know the history. Hip Hop is not just about hoes, whips, chains and pimps. Hip hop is a state to me. And we have cats like common, mos def, talib kweli, mos def, the roots and nas ressurecting it from what it has become or what people make it out to be. don't get me wrong i love rock i listen to led zeppelin, nirvana, etc.I don't hear anyone getting on rock music. atleast on hip hop station they bleep the words out and certain artist have clean version to song but on DC 101 i heard a song where this guy was singing about a woman being a nasty *****%26amp; somone blowing their head off.

majority of them didnt like hip hop, but their main beef wasnt with hip hop, its because a lot of white people feel that black people can say things and get away with it while white people cant. So they tried to crucify hip hop and in the end succeeded even though their point was irelevant and retarded.

if you do research on the history of hip hop you realize rappers were not only ETHICALLY crusifyed as Don Imus was, but they were also LEGALLY crucifyed, 2 Live Crew and N.W.A litterally had to fight iwth the government for their right to free speech. They were saying **** that they had NO idea about and did no research about it at all.

so in the end its just stupid whities talking through their assholes, everything that was comming out was ****.
