Do hip hop audiences appreaciate older rap music?

I know you guys listen to older stuff but most people listen to whats popular now.

Rappers like LL Cool J and Nas are talked about on a regular on here but the quote says they go unnoticed when they don't have new music out.

What happened to Heavy D, Afrika Bambaataa, Kool Moe Dee, and Salt-n-Pepa? or KRS-One? I think quotes right. I listen to LL's old stuff (first 7 albums), but he losing ambition to rap.
Not usually. It would all depend when you started liking Hip Hop and Rap. Compared to the music then and now, the music now is more liked, but their are some oldies out there! It would all depend...

Younger audiences should appreciate old school rap because they are always sampling music from the 70's, 80's, and 90's anyway.

Well I don't know I've never heard of Nas or LL trying to go on tour recently or anything.. I know if either of em came to my hood the concert would sell out.. I lean more towards oldskool anyways.. Stuff I hear today I know I won't be bangin' next year where as I still bump Nas, LL, Tone Loc etc etc and I stll fell em at the same time..
