I love real hip hop but....?

for some reason i like the new shawty lo "dey know" song. i juss love the beat and the remixes are sick. but overall i guess southern rap sucks. they all sound the same and they all have no real lyrics and no talent. i mean come on juss look at soulja boy, he relies on makin catchy songs for a ringtone, i mean i aint mad at the dude hez makin some $$$, but dude u suck. real hip hop needs to come back but i dont think it will since hip hop is like a human, it gets interested in different things and yea. all real hip hop has now is nas, jay-z, kweli, LUPE, mos def, and more. but what is next for hip hop?

The truth is southern hip hop about 95% is garbage. It is what is hurting hip hop today.

And even the few songers that are good are so far and few it doesn't even matter.

Wish that people with skills will stand up to make quailty songs. But saldly $$$$ rules everything around me (US) .

hey now, dont hate rap because of its demographics, scarface is from Housten, Texas, and is one of the most underrated rappers in the game today. Someone needs to shoot lil boosie/hurricane chris/rich boy/soulja boy/ but there are still some nice artists from the south

im afraid to say it but hip hop has not died but definitly is scarred for life (which may not be much longer) lupe and the others are likely 2 retire and "hip-pop" will have taken over unless someone comes out and stops this rapid decline
