I believe that hip hop and comic books mix together perfect.

writing rap rhymes silmular to creating a comic. if graffiti is hip hop art, than a comic book filled with hip hop like figures telling a story through pictures is hip hop to me.

(so) i'm thinking of making a hip cop comic book.

is this a good idea or a bad one.

It's a good idea, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. As a matter of fact keep all your ideas to yourself, b/c before you know it someone will pick up your idea and claim it as their own.
Hip hop has run its course. Time to focus on good plots over representation of particular cultures.
